Throughout the project, the consortium will work to:

Objectives

Lay the groundwork for assisting probation and other justice professionals in more frequent and efficient use of FD 2008/947 and FD 2009/829 and therein advocate for probationary solutions and alternatives to custodial measures.

Promote the use of FD 2008/947 and FD 2009/829 by embracing the use of existing and future digital tools in way of contributing to streamlining effective cooperation between authorities, in full consideration of Directive (EU) 2023/2843 and Regulation (EU) 2023/2844.

Promote knowledge sharing amongst professionals in a (trans)national environment towards better cooperation and mutual trust.

Ensure advocacy for human and fundamental rights enshrined in the EUCFR and ECHR, towards a more humane and efficient rehabilitation
