​Cross-Professional Roundtables

​The partnership will organise one Cross-Professional National Roundtable (CPRT) per partner country, and in addition it will organise one online event with EUMSs not included in the Consortium. These national events will aim to discuss recommendations and solutions in the context of FD 2008/947 and 2009/829 and how to adapt them to national contexts. 

The events will also promote discussions focussing on existing identified needs of probation officers concerning probation service-oriented training on both FD 2008/947 and 2009/829 and assess practitioners’ sensitivity towards the adoption of digital tools, as well institutional sensitivities towards systematization and mainstreaming of tools and procedures.

​EMPRO’s Knowledge Exchange Symposium 

​With the support from Associated Partner ERA, Practitioners from partner countries’ probation services and judicial authorities will gather in Trier for a dedicated cross-professional event. This symposium will focus on analysing the knowledge gathered throughout the project and centre discussions on the streamlining of digital platforms among probation services and its larger integration in FD 2008/947 and FD 2009/829 transfer procedures.  

​Final European Conference 

​EMPRO’s Final European Conference will be held in Paris, France, and it will seek to promote the Project and its outputs. It will explore the partnership’s work in the overall context of improving the effective and coherent application of EU law, specifically in what concerns the promotion of alternatives to detention, social rehabilitation of concerned individuals. Additionally, the conference will delve into the added value of upscaled digitization of legal procedures.
