“Empowerment of the Framework Decisions 2008/947 and 2009/829 through EU Probation Services” 

EMPRO Project aims to significantly strengthen the understanding and application of FD 2008/947 and 2009/829 within the European Union. 

​Through comprehensive training activities, the project will upscale probation officers’ soft power in the application of these instruments, ensuring a more frequent and swift resort to pre- and post-trial alternatives to detention and further advocate for stronger and more meaningful communication between relevant stakeholders.
